LITTLE LIFEBUOY (AGE 2)
“Our ‘Terrific twos’ are amazing explorers. They are beginning to understand group play and are becoming better at communicating their thoughts. A lot of group activities are incorporated into their programme to build social skills such as cooperation, sharing and taking turns. Art, Music, Language, numbers and Science are part of the daily activities that organise their experiences.
Your child will be nurtured in an environment that fosters a love of learning and a positive self-image. Their learning environment is very hands-on and it focuses on learning through play in all the seven areas of learning.
SUNNY SAIL (AGE 3)
Our preschooler are eager to learn and they are encouraged to explore while learning. With a lot of hands on activities, they are more able to explore with materials, learn by doing, move throughout the classroom, interact and work together with others. The programme progresses with math, language, science, and social skills in a logical natural sequence to encourage learning. Math and science skills are developed with hands-on experience while we work on their language development through varied activities like songs and rhymes, storytelling, story shaping, role play, phonics activities, free interactive plays e.t.c. We focus on learning through play while promoting all seven areas of learning.
POLLY PENGUIN (AGE 4)
This stage of learning is a critical time for children as they begin the adventure of a lifetime of learning. They are ready to explore concepts in the areas of reading, math, science, art, social skills, vocabulary learning, letters and words as well as the continued growth of language and physical skills. Our reception programme will prepare your child for the academic and social challenges of the next phase.
The children’s curiosity, independence and self-confidence are fostered through the use of age appropriate activities. Manipulative toys, art, and music experiences enhance the child’s understanding and enjoyment of new concepts.
With our very strong phonics programme, the children progress with ease into reading age appropriate texts by the end of the Reception class. The programme promotes independence while preparing your child for the next exciting phase. Our programme is designed to develop each child academically, socially and emotionally.
