Sailors’ Pride College offers a broad, balanced, relevant, differentiated and inclusive curriculum to all students in a serene and enabling environment. We offer a Hybrid Curriculum which conforms to the curriculum programmes of study and all other statutory requirements. The students are guided towards a curriculum which meets their individual needs and aspirations.
Our curriculum has been developed to meet the requirements of current curriculum guidelines and our commitment to the provision of a wide range of subjects, including breadth in our modern language and vocational choices. Students are grouped in a variety of ways according to the needs of the subject.
Sailors’ Pride College students are provided with opportunities to extend their skills and talents, which includes the provision of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities to reinforce classroom learning, enhance physical development and promote students’ social experiences, skills and social values.
Formal assessments of learning are conducted according to our Assessment, Recording and Reporting schedule; also, targets are shared with students and their parents regularly. Assessments of students’ learning are also made more formative and frequently.
Sailors Pride College is also a member of the Association of Christian School International (ACSI). We integrate biblical principles in the overall learning process to enhance godly character and build strong leadership skills.
The implementation of this policy is monitored through whole school, departmental and pastoral review.
